Mommy's First Daughter

Especially during this time of year things become hectic and I find myself too busy to update my blog. There are so many images I would love to share from the beautiful sessions I have had...here is one I couldn't resist. After two handsome sons this lovely Mommy was blessed with a baby girl. Her nursery was so pretty. It was at the same time both sophisticated and sweet...a vision of pink, contrasted with a hint of black and classic Barbie. Here is one of my favorites from the session...

Despite the heat I set out a large pot of burgundy colored mums, a pumpkin, changed the summer wreaths to autumn wreaths, and put the candy corn in the clear glass pumpkin candy dish. What have you done to celebrate the new season? Hopefully the weather is beautiful and filled with a hint of autumn in the air where you are!

tea time...

I had the most delightful session recently with a sweet little girl. Her mother dressed her in a perfectly adorable outfit...a voile floral printed blouse with the most precious details... rhinestone buttons, hunter green grosgrain ribbon and crochet lace trim...it was sleeveless and had a dainty ruffled edge (Guess). She paired the blouse with trendy worn looking jeans and topped it with a cream puffy sleeved sweater (H&M)...oh and the black mary janes were a perfect finish!

This is a little series that I shot during this session...I love how the story turned out.

I had brought some of my toys with me and Miss L  was surprised when she opened the dolly trunk to find a tea set and raggedy ann waiting to play!

I went to unload my trunk and was so excited when I opened it to find all of this cheer staring back at me...

toys, lots of toys and I have had a lot of fun sharing them with all of the little ones I get to meet!
